Schwaizer Companion — Privacy Policy
Schwaizer Companion is a voice companion app that pairs with your 0x00 workspace session by scanning a QR code. This policy explains what data the app handles, where it goes, and the choices you have.
Data stored only on your device
The following never leaves your phone and is never sent to Schwaizer:
- API keys you enter in Settings (stored in the iOS Keychain / Android Keystore)
- The cryptographic device key that secures pairing with your workspace
- Your app settings and preferences
Voice and audio
- Speech recognition (speech-to-text) runs entirely on your device
- Audio recordings are not stored and never leave your device
- If you provide your own ElevenLabs API key, answer text is sent to ElevenLabs to generate speech, under ElevenLabs’ own privacy terms; without a key, the built-in system voice is used
Conversations and pairing
Your questions and the answers are exchanged directly with the workspace hub you explicitly paired with — by scanning its QR code and approving the connection on that screen. Schwaizer does not operate, store, or have access to your conversations with third-party hubs. You can revoke a pairing at any time from the workspace or by disconnecting in the app.
Diagnostics and analytics
Production builds of the app use two services, both hosted in the European Union:
- Sentry — crash and error reports, so we can fix problems
- PostHog — anonymous product-usage events (e.g. app opened), so we can improve the app
No conversation content, audio, or API keys are ever included in these reports, and sending personally identifying information is disabled.
App permissions
- Camera — used only to scan the pairing QR code
- Microphone — used only for voice input during conversations
Your choices and data deletion
- Delete your API keys at any time in Settings
- Disconnect or revoke a pairing at any time
- Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data
